St Austin's RAM Installation
13th October 2014

A cool autumn evening chill and more than a little drizzle had descended upon the Mark Province of West Lancashire on Monday the 18th October, but the Provincial Grand Master, RW Bro. Peter Connolly was at Warrington Masonic Hall to lead his team of officers at the Installation meeting of St Austins RAM.

The Worshipful Commander, Darren Brown, who is also the Master of St Austin's Mark, Opened the meeting and the administrative duties of the Lodge were discharged by the ever attentive Secretary, Alan Blackstone and Treasurer John Goodrum. The Director of Ceremonies, Eric Drinkwater, was in perfect control of the ceremonial.

Following a report the Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies entered the Lodge and announced that the Provincial Grand Master was demanding admission. Darren readily acquiesced to the demand and Peter, accompanied by those of the team who are Royal Ark Mariners, entered the Lodge and joined the other Grand Lodge officers Jack G Forsyth, Frank A Starkey & Eric Drinkwater.

The Provincial Grand Master introduced the team and quickly returned the sceptre to Darren who then installed the Master elect, Eric Delmere in an excellent manner.

The Lodge was closed and we all retired to an excellent meal as is always the case at Warrington.

The journey home was again a little chilly but the warmth of our reception by the members of St. Austins RAM was enough to see us through.
